Giveaway Tuesdays has officially ended! But don't sweat it, WonderHowTo has another World that's taken its place. Every Tuesday, Phone Snap! invites you to show off your cell phone photography skills.
Submit your best shot to our weekly competition for a chance to win an awesome prize. Phoneographers only—both Android and iPhone welcome! Check it out now.
For this week's Giveaway Tuesday, we've challenged you to submit your favorite 6-15 second video clip (shot by YOU). The most interesting piece of video will be converted into a 50-page flipbook, printed in the faraway rolling pastures of Switzerland (more details here).
Get inspired by the flipbook projects below & let's see what you've got—submit now.
1. Parkour Motion Reel
Previously featured on WonderHowTo, Parkour Motion Reel is a "flipbook" in an abstract sense. Presented loosely in flipbook form, the animation was illustrated with technical pen, frame-by-frame by Serene Teh of Singapore.
2. Jonathan's Proposal to Lindsey
When Jonathan & Lindsey decided to tie the knot, they hatched a plan to create their own wedding invitation flipbook. (Warning: serious romance ahead...)
3. Squeeze Me
Directed by Andre Maat & Superelectric, the below "fingerflipping" video was created for Dutch musical producer trio Kraak & Smaak's single 'Squeeze Me'.
4. A Brief History of Pretty Much Everything
Back in 2010, YouTube user DispleasedEskimo uploaded his final project for a school art course—"a flipbook made entirely with biro pens… 2100 pages long, and about 50 jotter books." Check out the artist's deviant art page here.
5. Sonic the Hedgehog, Zombies & Other Adolescent Fun
Browse the gallery below for a collection of high energy, hand-drawn flipbooks by YouTube user BloodyRenegadeX. Roughly drawn, but action-packed.
